Rosie and Jims Childcare work with Early Years Training to provide excellent training across all of our settings. We currently access their online training platform, and also use their consultancy and face-to-face packages.

Your standard working hours would have been set upon enrollment. If you have any questions, you should contact your nursery manager.

You should speak to your nursery manager to change any information on staff files. They will then contact the Management team to change any payroll and DBS information.

Any Mental health or wellbeing queries should be directed to your nursery manager who will liaise with the operations manager.

All staff are required to wear the agreed staff uniform at all times during working hours.
Black bottoms must be work (trousers, skirts or shorts). Shorts must be knee length.
Flat black shoes must be work for safety and professionalism.
The company will provide 2 x t-shirts and 2 x jumpers per staff member.
Staff are expected to keep their uniform clean and presentable at all times.
Replacement uniform items can be requested through management if needed.

Rotas’ are handled directly by Nursery Managers. They usually post the rota in the setting group chat and it should be available to view in the nursery office.

You should have received a copy of your employment contract on enrolment or update of employment terms. If you have not received an employment contract, please contact your nursery manager ASAP.

Payment day is on the 5th of each month (e.g 5th November)

You’ll receive reminders, and your manager will follow up. Some roles may require you to pause certain duties until training is completed.
EYLog FAQs

EYLog is our nursery management software that allows parents.carers to view daily updates on their child(ren). You will go through training about EYLog on enrolment.
