2 Year Early Education and Childcare
Your 2 year old may be able to receive FREE early years education and childcare if you live in England and get one of the following benifits:
  • Income support
  • Income based jobseekers allowance (JSA)
  • Income related employment and support allowance (ESA)
  • Universal Credit
  • Tax credits and you have an annual income of under £16190 before tax.
  • Guaranteed element of state pension credit.
  • Support through part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act.
  • The working tax cedit 4-week run on ( the payment you get when you stop quailfying for Working Tax Credit)

​​A child can also receive FREE early education and childcare if any of the following applies:
  • They are looked after by the local council.
  • They have a current statement of special educational needs.
  • They receive disabilty living allowance.
  • They left care under a special guardianship order, child arrangements order or adoption order.
2 year old early years Eucation and Childcare starts from the Term after your child turns 2

3 AND 4 YEAR OLD FREE EARLY YEARS EDUCATION AND CHILDCARE
​​ALL 3 and 4 year olds in England receive 570 free hours per year.  ( the term after your child turns 3). Its usually taken as 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year, but you can choose to take fewer hours over more weeks or additional hours which you can pay for .
​We offer our 15 hours funding in a felxible way, this is to accomendate as many families as possible . 


HOW TO APPLY
​ To apply for 15 hours FREE education and childcare please contact you choosen childcare setting from the list below.
​Discuss you childcare needs with them and arrange a viewing of the premsies.
​Once your happy with the agreed patten of hours and the chosen childcare setting you will be asked to complete some paperwork , so we can apply for the funding for you.
​You will need :
​Your childs birth certificate​ and your National Insurance Number 
.
Please be aware that if you attend the setting and chose to leave before headcount day ( usally 4 weeks after the term starts) then you are liable for your childcare cost.
